The Cat in the Hat

We went home this past weekend to visit family. Aunt Mary gave Little M.B. a Cat in the Hat doll. How perfect!!! I just love Dr. Seuss!!!!!!!!

To My Unborn Child...

this is your daddy on his 32nd birthday. He is very goofy. I am sure that you will have a great time playing and being silly with him. I know he is ready to be silly with you, obviously.

Today we bought Michael some bedding that is actually chocolate brown and blue. This is our third attempt. We got so excited that we threw everything on just to take a pic. Now I have to take it all back off to wash and iron. Just wanted everyone to see it.

Doctor Update

I went today for my 29 week dr. appointment. I am measuring right at 29 cm and am exactly 29 weeks. My blood pressure is good and so are all of my stats. It was nice to hear since I've been so sick. When the doctor was measuring me she found Michael's head, booty and feet and helped me feel for them. It was so cool to feel. His feet are right at my ribs which is why they are so sore. His bottom is right in between the left and right part of my rib cage. How neat! I start going to the doctor every two weeks now and then every week starting at 36 weeks. I can't believe how fast the time is going. He will be here before we know it. I can't wait.

Macie Meets the Sparks'

Tonight we met Rachel's baby, Macie, for the first time. She's so beautiful. Mom, Dad, and baby are doing fine. Rachel looks great and is enjoying every minute with her precious baby. This was a great picture because we actually caught her with her eyes open. We went to visit them after a whole day of childbirth class, and it was a great way to end a day of hearing just how painful the experience will be. Macie reminded me it will all be worth it! I can't wait to hold my little guy pretty soon. It will be fun for Macie and Michael to have their first play date.

28 Weeks

Wow! I can't believe I am in my third trimester. How time flies. Our baby will be here in 84 days! Crazy. I am so enjoying feeling him move around in my stomach. He is going to be a music lover like his daddy because when I sing with my kids at school he gets real active. It's fun! The kids are starting to notice him kicking through my clothes and get tickled.

I have been feeling miserably tired these days. I noticed it was all over my face when I saw this picture. I go to the doctor next week and I am going to talk to her about it. I think I need my iron levels and thyroid checked. I am already taking iron twice a day for anemia. I feel like I need a little boost to get me through the next 3 months and to teach with some kind of enthusiasm. We'll see. I will report next week.
