I went to the dr. today to do a sequential screening where they take measurements of the baby to check for Down's Syndrome and Spina Bifida. Our baby is A-OK! While the sonogram guy was taking the measurements he asked if we had a guess as to what we are having. We said no, and he gave us a guess! He said right now it looks like a boy. You can see why in the 3rd picture. He said we'll have to wait til 21 weeks (I am 12 weeks now) to know for sure but so far it looks like the makings of a boy. So take the poll and cast your vote for what you think it'll be.
Our baby is very active. The heartbeat was 164 bpm. It was flopping all over the place on the screen and was even doing its first crunches!!!! It was so cute. I can't wait to start feeling it moving around. I guess I better be careful what I wish for with it being as active as it is.
It's also amazing how much bigger the baby is/looks in just 4 weeks. This is just so exciting. It's beginning to feel real to me.
