Setting Up the Baby Furniture

Today Michael set up the baby bed and dresser. He was installing the last piece of the crib only to find out that it won't screw together! We have to exchange it. I felt so bad for him he was almost done. I wish it had been the first piece and not the last piece. He was so upset. So when we get the new one in and the baby bedding on it I will post another picture. I really like the furniture though. We also still have to stain the changing table to match and then I'll get it on here. I feel like Michael Britton's already out growing his room and that we are outgrowing our house, and we don't even have half the stuff we will have for him in a few months! I guess big things come in little packages.

Registering Fun

Michael and I went straight to Babies R Us after we left the doctor's office. I was so ready to point that gun and shoot. We started off great but after about 2 hours of registering I was ready to go! I definitely need to add some things and delete some things. It all became a little hazy at the end but we had fun.

It's a boy!!!!!!!!

What an exciting day! I am so glad to know that our baby is going to be a boy, finally. We will name him Michael Britton. He weighs 1 pound 4 ounces right now which is perfect. His heartbeat was 134 bpm. He's pretty active. He was face down during the sonogram and by the time the doctor examined me he was breech. So he moves alot which I am starting to feel often.

We got really lucky the sono tech decided to do a 4D Sonogram just for fun. It was so cool. You could really see his lips and little nose. He looked so cute I just wanted to kiss him. There was such a good picture of his feet he could tell that his 2nd toe is a little longer than the big toe (definitely Michael's feet, not mine.) Technology is so cool and we are so lucky they did the 4D. It definitely was not planned. I can't wait to meet this little guy in about 18 weeks!

Just one week left til I find out what my baby will be!!!

We are leaving in about 1/2 an hour to go to the doctor. The day is finally here!!!!!!!!!!! I can hardly stand it. I will post new pics of the baby when we get back.

Halfway There!

I am 20 weeks now. We are halfway to meeting our new baby. Only 2 weeks away from finding out what the baby will be. I can hardly stand the suspense anymore. I will definitely post the news when we find out!

First Baby Gifts

On Friday was the Fall Friend Reveal at my school. My friend gave me this way cute Aggie Revielle mobile for the crib. It is so cute! This weekend we went to Houston and our moms gave us some cute gifts. My mom gave me the booties and the softest blanket in the world. Michael's mom gave us the Nighty Night book with a cd and pillow. It was fun to get my first gifts!
